You can now purchase Nona through Amazon.com, iTunes, Rhapsody, eMusic and most other digital outlets! We are very excited about it, so get excited, too, goddamnit. In order to make it easy for you to get your hot little hands on it, HERE IS A LINK TO PURCHASE FROM AMAZON.COM. We have a fancy widget to look at for it, too, but we can't post it on this site because it doesn't support direct html coding, it being Flash and all. Ugh. Anyway, Nona went live so get to Amazon and get your shit. Also, Industrialized Metal Magazine did a review of None and you can see that here.

Alot to say this time: First of all, Scream Machine is MyStage Music's Experimental Artist Of The Month this month, April & May (this is obviously an edit). You can check it out at: http://www.mystagemusic.com/mystage-experimental/. Just copy and paste.
We are also #4 on ReverbNation's Local Metal Charts. That's for VA, MD, PA and WV. Neat, huh?
Scream Machine became an "official" music project in February 2008 so it is just past our 1 year anniversary. Damn, time goes by quick, doesn't it? Our sound has changed a little in that time, I think. We have finished Nona and are looking forward to releasing it March 20, 2009 (despite what you may have heard me say on Malice Radio, lol; I was looking at the calendar and it's one of those ones that has all the months there together - my eye just happened to fall on November).
Yes, Cosmo and I sort of busted in on the Rev. Jeremy Malice of Malice Radio and his compatriots. Actually, it was Cosmo. I had asked The Rev. what he thought of our new stuff. Not as anything to do with Malice Radio, but just as a guy who listens to industrial/whatever we are and knows his shit. He said he'd listen to it and that he would critique it on the air if I'd like. I never really gave him an answer; I said it was up to him if he thought it was good enough to be played on the show. (As to whether they actually played anything of ours, I don't know - we had to disconnect from the show about 20 min. after we hung up with them and didn't get to hear the rest of it. They were doing like 50 other things, so maybe not.)
The Rev. had mentioned us in the first part of the show and Cosmo called, unbeknownst to me until I heard his voice coming out of the computer, to thank the Rev. for doing so. It just went on from there. We had fun doing it. They are a great bunch of guys (if a little raunchy, lol) and very funny. Also, we'd like to give props to the other musicians we were on with: Adrian James of Das Gift and Greta Valenti of Fuji Minx.
The show is #17 and can be found at www.maliceradio.com . We are glad that Malice Radio is back and thank them for having us on. It was a lot of fun.

Well, on Friday, March 20th of this year, the long-anticipated (by us, anyway) Nona is going to be released. Hopefully maybe some of you will buy it. Or download it illegally. Whatever. It ain't about money anyway. It's about a moment, right? A moment when a song we made hits you right THERE and you're like, "Yeah, that's right."
The EP we are also getting ready to release, The Stepford Nation EP is going to be out done next and hopefully some of you will buy that, too. And if you don't, hopefully you get some of those "Yeah" moments out of that one, too. That's what we're really after here. Yes, We are also open to remixes and collaborations, so if YOU are interested, let us know! We are planning to sell physical CDs through CDBaby and digital material through TuneCore. By March 20th, it will all be in place.
The finalized track listing of Nona ended up being this:
1. Weak Salvation
2. Folie a Deux
3. Apex Predator
4. The Things That Make You
5. Masquerade
6. Perfect
7. Factor X
8. Hell's Winter
9. Anthropophagus
10. Sick
11. Rattlesnake
12. Holler You Home
Some we didn't anticipate and some that we just couldn't use. There was one, Living Doll, that is very special to both Cosmo and I but it is just not ready. We hope to rework it and put it on the next one. We were going to call the next one Temperamental Disposition but it was mostly political songs so we made The Stepford Nation EP and decided to go in another direction with the new one as far as what it's going to be all about. You'll just have to wait and see what it is. :0)
Thanks to everybody who has given Scream Machine a listen.

Just a few lines to let ya'll know what's gone on in the past week or so. We launched a new radio station on SHOUTcast! called SMRadio. We decided to ditch the old program because it was too hit or miss. SHOUTcast! seems much more reliable. Too reliable, in fact... the station plays non-stop. Lol. The link to stream it live is smeared all over this site as well as the MySpace link to SMRadio on MySpace. We are trying to get into the tuner on WMPlayer but so far, no dice.
Nona is almost done. It only needs one track or so. We are looking for a label (again) but this time we really mean it. Last time "looking for a label" entailed asking people if they'd like a demo, getting a yes but not sending any (we're lazy). This time we are going to send them. You know... probably.
That's about it for right now. It's only been a week. If you want more up to the very fucking minute updates, you should check Scream Machine's blog on MySpace.

Salutations to all, as we sit here listening to Paul Di'Anno singing metal christmas carols, we hope you all are having a great holiday season. Don't spike the 'nog too much and if you're partying, do it responsibly. All in all, stay safe and don't get arrested. 'Tis the season for the cops to make their quotas, ya know? May all your children (if you have any) have smiling faces Christmas morning.
With that said, we released our first project Spider Riot. The response was actually surprising. SinDelle immediately started putting together tracks for Nona. I would say half the tracks were all her. With me working all the time I couldn't contribute as much as I'd like to. I would say in the past month we both worked day and night composing different material. Some you'll hear on Nona and the rest you may hear as a b-side in the future or never at all. Once we rule the industry we'll put them on a CD-R and auction it on Ebay...j/k. It would sell for a dollar and we'd lose out on shipping. Anyways, 2009 is shaping up to be even more progressive. We are looking into some net lables and even a couple major lables that have shown interest in our material. We will probably release Nona induvidually around Springtime through CD Baby. We'll release .mp3 sales sooner than that hopefully. I'm going to warn you now...if you heard Spider Riot and not heard the new stuff be prepared for a more traditional EP. Not the experimental tracks we released before. We're both excited about it. We may step back for a moment before releasing it widespread and work on other projects. SinDelle has been working on a novel called Frailty that has caught some editors attention and she is wanting to finish it as well as find some sort of literary agent to shop it around to. I'll be the first to say that Frailty is a visionary mindfuck and a half. As far as myself, I'm bringing back The Head Wound and plan on being more involved with it. For those that don't know, check out the Radio Stations page.
All I can say is as of next Monday at 8:00 PM EST the REAL underground will surface in the metal industry. I also am giving thought to doing a seperate Industrial show. We'll see what happens.
So that's what it's been and going to be. Like every year, times are good and tough, but the music and humor carries us through. I expect the same the next coming year. Keep it real, cop a feel, and don't spit the same ole shmeal.
All Hails,
Cosmo Morte
